Working at the lodge makes me feel that I belong, that I have value in the community. For me, a new, modern facility with a homely atmosphere and cutting edge technology would help physicians, nurses and other staff serve patients even better. Dr. Gavin Van de Venter, family physician.

Thank you!
Thank you for your donation to the Northwest Community Lodge Association. Every gift supports dignity care and a safe place to call home for those in our community and surrounding area who cannot live independently.
When construction on the new lodge begins, it’s vital that we ensure funding for equipment and furnishings is in place. Being able to fund equipment and furnishings will mean residents can move in sooner, turning the vision we all share into a reality—dignity care and a safe place to call home for our most vulnerable community members.
A story behind every gift.
Doris Young
Doris Young is a familiar face to many in Meadow Lake, thanks to her various business interests and charitable gifts. Since her mother moved to the lodge, she's also become a familiar face to staff and NCLA Board members. “I’ve always believed in supporting the lodge, but now that my mother is a resident, I see the need first-hand," Doris says.
"You can bring some personal things to make it seem more home-like, but the aging building is a challenge. I know that equipment and furnishings for the new lodge will need to be funded privately, and I think it’s a cause worth supporting."
Jake & Eve Danilkewich
In 2012, Jake and Eve Danilkewich donated a parcel of land to the Prairie North Health Region for the future home of the new Meadow Lake lodge. The land is located just north of Meadow Lake on along Hwy 4.
On behalf of the current and future residents of the lodge, as well as family members, physicians, nurses, therapists, care aides, other staff and volunteers … Thank you for supporting the Northwest Community Lodge Association! We welcome every gift. Donations of $100 or more are recognized on our website Donor Roll. We update our Donor Roll several times a year. Amounts shown are cumulative donations, rounded to the nearest dollar.
